Use comparison of electric and solenoid valves

Solenoid valve : for liquid and gas pipeline switch control, is two DO control. Generally used for small pipe control. Electric valve: for liquid, gas and wind system pipe medium flow analog regulation, is AI control. In the control of large valve and wind system can also use electric valve to do two switch control. Solenoid valve: can only be used as switching quantity, is DO control, can only be used for small pipe control, common in DN50 and below pipe. Electric valve: can have AI feedback signal, can be controlled by DO or AO, more commonly seen in large pipelines and wind valves.

Characteristics of pneumatic actuator

Compact double-piston gear, rack structure, accurate meshing, high efficiency, constant output torque. The aluminum cylinder block, piston and end cap are the lightest compared with the actuators of the same size and structure. The cylinder body is made of extruded aluminum alloy and treated by hard anodic oxidation. The sliding bearing made of low friction material can avoid direct contact between metals, with low friction coefficient, flexible rotation and long service life. Pneumatic actuator  and valve installation, connection size according to the international standard  ISO5211 pneumaitc actuators , DIN3337 pneumaitc actuators and VDI/VDE3845 pneumaitc actuators design, can be exchanged with ordinary pneumatic actuator.

Characteristics

Characteristics of 3v solenoid valve : 1. The direct moving type is normally closed and the commutation is sensitive; 2. No lubrication is required; 3. Multi-valve integration, saving installation space; 4. Equipped with manual device for installation and debugging; 5. There are many standard voltage levels available.
