Bistable solenoid valves  power supply pulsating 120V direct current, can be positive or negative. When the pulsating dc voltage of different polarity is applied to the solenoid coil, the spool will move in different directions. When power is stopped, the spool will stop at the end of the movement. There is only body and coil inside the  bistable solenoid valve , so the volume is smaller than that of unistable solenoid valve.
